Bart Nickerson is the Director of Account Management at MyThum Interactive, a leader in interactive mobile media. With direct connections to all Canadian wireless operators and access to all major US carriers, MyThum enables brands and media companies to build relationships with more than 250 million consumers through their mobile phones. Since 2002, the MyThum team has launched hundreds of initiatives, many the first of their kind in North America. MyThum powers the direct-to-consumer mobile content storefronts for all the major record labels in Canada, including Warner Music Canada and Universal Music Canada. MyThum also enables interactive television solutions for broadcasters such as CTV, CanWest Global, the CBC and Rogers Sportsnet. In addition, MyThum has been engaged by many of Canada‚s leading brands such as Molson, Nike, Mitsubishi and Shoppers Drug Mart to develop and deploy various mobile marketing solutions.
Prior to joining MyThum, Mr. Nickerson was Director of Digital Services for Universal Music Canada, the country‚s largest major record label, where he played a leading role in developing the rapidly growing online and mobile music market. Mr. Nickerson also draws on experience as a management consultant at Accenture (formerly Anderson Consulting), where he advised clients in such varied industries as banking, consumer products and telecommunications. Mr. Nickerson has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business.
