The founders of Animoto Productions include veterans from the TV & film industry. Their first release is Animoto (animoto.com), a web application that automatically produces unique, MTV-style music videos using the images and music our users select. No two videos are ever the same. Produced in a wide-screen format, each video is a fully customized orchestration. The heart of Animoto is its patent-pending Cinematic Artificial Intelligence technology that thinks like an actual director and editor.This A.I. makes the same sophisticated post-production skills & techniques that are used in television and film accessible to everyone. Animoto is based in New York City with an office in San Francisco. Jason Hsiao is the Co-Founder & President of Animoto Productions. Prior to Animoto, Jason served a producer on a variety of shows for MTV, Comedy Central, and VH1.
