John's long experience in video games started with programming Atari games as a teenager and later as VP of Development with pioneer publisher, Domark Software. After establishing Domark in the US he returned to the UK as Publisher at Eidos Interactive. During that time Eidos became one of Europe's largest publishers and John signed some of its biggest brands such as Hitman, Deus Ex, Timesplitters and Theif. Later he ran their US studios including Crystal Dynamics and turned around Ion Storm. After a break from the industry he started Bright Things where he designed Bubble, the UK Toy of the Year in 2005.
