Korash Sanjideh Managing Director & Founder HMC Interactive (UK)
Korash Sanjideh graduated from BSc (Hons) MediaLab Arts in 2003 and co-founded HMC Interactive with three fellow graduates, after winning the award for Most Commercial Value at Submerge 2003 with Hardcore Monkey Crash, a community based online gaming system. Korash has been lead on the strategic development of HMC and has guided the company through the many changes and challenges it has faced, adapting the business model to cater for the rich and diverse work they create and the clients they work for.
In 2007, Korash oversaw the acquisition of HMC by TwoFour Group, one of the fastest growing media companies in the UK and is now using his network of international contacts to build HMC into leading force for interactive and experiential software development. Korash sits on the board of The Plymouth Media Partnership, is industry liaison for Plymouth College of Art and Design and representative for UK industry at The European Academy of Digital Media (EADiM). He is also visiting lecturer at Newport School of Art Design & Media and The University of Plymouth, focusing his subject matter on commercialisation of experience based software and how to develop new business models from innovative technologies.
