Sean is the founder and Director of VeloCity, a 'residence-incubator' at the University of Waterloo which launches this fall. VeloCity is targeted at top student entrepreneurs who want to turn their ideas in digital media, mobile and web into viable business propositions.
Sean also leads UW's Media & Mobility Network project, which aims to transform the technology environment for the 5,000 students in UW's residences. As part of this project, in the fall of '07, UW worked with INUK Networks (UK) to conduct what is believed to be the first ever IPTV trial in a Canadian university student residence.
But Sean is most proud that, despite having five children, his sanity (though not his hair) remains intact. He's also proud to have been a member of Canada's national basketball team and played alongside two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash.
