Terri is recognized for her international expertise in strategy development, market research, and policy analysis in the media industries – including television, film and new media. At Nordicity, Terri has led both corporate and public sector clients to develop new directions on new and old distribution platforms. While based in Toronto, Terri jointly manages the Nordicity U.K. office, bringing her ‘back to Blighty’, where she lived for a number of years, more recently as a Head of Strategy for the BBC. There, she shaped tv and new media content strategies, developed creative cluster public sector partnerships as part of the BBC’s move to the Manchester region, and advised on the creation of e-learning services (including the fated BBC Jam). Prior to the BBC, Terri was at Forrester Research in the UK during the dotcom boom and bust, where she wrote a series of reports analyzing best practices in cross-platform marketing and advertising; video-on-demand and interactive television; and online retailing.
In addition to her work in the creative industries, Terri is actively involved with the Toronto City Summit Alliance in forging a 120-partner initiative to ‘green’ the city region.
