Vikas Gupta is the CEO & President of TransGaming Technologies, a leader in the development of software portability products for the multi-billion dollar electronic entertainment industry. TransGaming's products allow the rapid deployment of triple A video games content across multiple platforms without the traditionally arduous and expensive redevelopment. Vikas leads TransGaming's strategic endeavours and has navigated the company into the Mac arena where TransGaming is now revolutionizing Mac gaming. With some of the biggest gaming companies in the world as customers, including Electronic Arts, Turner Broadcasting, THQ, to name a few, TransGaming has single handedly released more top tier video games for Mac in 2007 then were released as a whole in 2006. TransGaming is also working with Electronic Arts on the simultaneous PC/Mac release of SPORE, one of the most highly anticipated titles of the decade.
Vikas took TransGaming public on the TSX Venture Exchange (TNG) in November 2005 and has since increased the company's valuation five fold.
Vikas has been featured in the Globe & Mail, Financial Post, PROFIT Magazine, Canadian Business Magazine and has appeared on the Business News Network (BNN), CityTV, CP24, and HomePage on many occasions. In addition to his dedication to TransGaming, Vikas is a member of the Board of Advisors for a number of start-ups, was a mentor and judge for the Vortex Gaming Competition, and is a frequent speaker and lecturer at the University of Toronto Rotman School of Business and Ryerson University's Business and Technology program. Vikas is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, Canada’s premier high-tech educational institution.
